Please use the registration form to be added to the waitlist.  If a spot opens up you will be contacted by Kids United staff to be moved from the waitlist into the program.

2026 Info

Kids United is a drop-in style program.  Daily attendance is not required; attend as often as you like.  All participants must be registered before attending.  Registration should be completed by parents or guardians.  Please ensure all information on the registration forms is accurate.  Schedule changes or cancellations will be sent to the email used at registration.  On-site registration is available if needed.  Upon successful registration, you should receive a confirmation email.

Location:

Kids United will be at Abbott Middle School, 949 Van St.

Pickup and Dropoff will be at the gym doors on Commonwealth

Who can register?

All registrants must be entering grades 4 – 12 for the upcoming school year

A child must meet one of the following requirements:

Residency in the City of Elgin

Residency in Elgin Township

Attend a U-46 school

If you meet one of those 3 requirements, you qualify.  You do not have to meet all 3.

Dates and Hours:

KU will start on Monday, June 22^nd and run Monday – Thursday until August 11th, which will be our End of Summer Party

3:00 PM – 5:30 PM  Younger Group: Children entering grades 4^th – 6^th in the Fall  

6:30 PM – 9:00 PM  Teen Group: Children entering grades  7^th – 12^th in the Fall

Field Trip Dates (subject to change):

June 26^th:  Sky Zone (both groups)

July 3^rd:  Santa’s Village (younger group)

July 10^th:  Lincoln Marsh (older group)

July 15^th:  Chicago Sky (both groups)

July 17th: Wing Park Pool (both groups) drop off at Wing Park

July 24^th:  Otter Cove (older group)

July 31^st:  Kane County Cougars (both groups)

August 5th: Medieval Times (younger group)

August 7^th:  Main Event (both groups)

Schedule adjustments:

KU will be closed on July 15^th due to the Chicago Sky field trip

KU will be closed on August 4^th due to National Night Out.  Participants are encouraged to participate in one of the parties hosted throughout the city.

KU will be closed on August 5^th for our Medieval Times field trip.
